My ideal client views therapy as a partnership. They are not looking for me to “tell them what to do” or “fix their problems.” They are looking, instead, to develop tools and skills to make empowered decisions on their own. They are also always willing to be transparent and honest and tell me what is working and what is not working in the therapeutic process.

The majority of my experience is in working with adolescents between 11 and 14 as a school social worker. As a result of this role, I have a strong understanding of the issues that affect not just teens but their families as a whole.

I am here for you! My approach to our sessions will be to ask what you want to discuss and I will do my best to work together to meet the goals that are important to you. I believe compassion and genuine care are vital to the therapeutic relationship.
