Heather Milam, LPC

Heather Milam is a licensed professional counselor in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate and graduate programs from West Virginia University in 2006 and 2008. Heather has enjoyed working with adults from various backgrounds but has a passion for working with anxiety disorders, addictions, trauma, perinatal and eating disorders. Her counseling approach has been molded by various multisensory techniques and theories, including: Eye Movement Desensitization Realization (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). As a native of West Virginia, Heather enjoys outdoor activities that each of the four seasons provide. In her free time, she also enjoys DIY projects, reading, and spending time with her family & friends.
