Juliet Bloom, MSW, LGSW

Licensed Graduate Social Worker

I provide my clients with a humanistic, person-centered approach to therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood and/or learning and development disorders utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy techniques.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from West Virginia University, with certifications in Early Childhood Development and Infant/Toddler Education. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from WVU as well, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the program and was a part of the Rural Integrated Behavioral Health Training program focused on clinical behavioral health practice in rural West Virginia. I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and working towards my independent clinical licensure.

I chose to pursue a career as a therapist after experiencing significant anxiety, complex trauma and PTSD from health issues that began in my adolescence. I want to be an advocate for mental health for children, adolescents, and young adults as they process their experiences and provide hope for their future, while learning coping skills and strategies to improve their thought processes and increase self-esteem.
