Lindsey has a passion for counseling and advocating for children, teens, and adults who have survived all types of trauma. She utilizes various evidence-based treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a type of cognitive therapy that uses eye movements to make more meaningful connections about previous life events. Lindsey also sees children and adults for depression, anxiety, and behavior disorders. She has a specialized interest in sexual dysfunction and clinical sexuality, as well as helping members of the LGBTQ+ community. She is an Individual Affiliate with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family back home in eastern Kentucky, attending local concerts, working out, and being in the woods with her boyfriend and their two rescue coonhounds, Avett and Rosie. She is also finishing her dissertation for her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
