Mindy Eaves, MA is a Provisional License Counselor in the state of West Virginia. She relocated her family and her farm from Oregon. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She has been working in the mental health field since obtaining her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2016. She has experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse programs, and private practice.
While she enjoys working with a range of mental health concerns her specialty is working in trauma (PTSD), addictions, anxiety, and depression. MIndy utilizes an eclectic approach between Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),Solution-Based, and Motivational Interviewing. She uses these evidence-based techniques to assist clients in learning about themselves while increasing their distress tolerance, coping skills, and emotional regulation. When not working Mindy likes spending time with her husband, five children, her horses and other animals around her farm.
