Provisionally Licensed Counselor
I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity, self-esteem, attachment and relationship struggles, OCD, grief, and family issues. As a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the incredible resilience people carry within themselves—even when prior wounds and challenges make it hard to recognize their strengths. It is my core belief that we all possess the potential for profound growth and healing when offered safety, tools, and attuned support. My role is to help you rediscover and tap into your wellspring of strength, break free from unhealthy patterns, and heal from prior wounds as you embrace your full, authentic self. Whether you’re a parent looking for support for your child in managing their big emotions or challenging behaviors, a teen navigating identity or personal challenges, or an adult working through past trauma or a navigating a difficult time, I am here to support you in transforming your anxiety, grief, depression, and defensive patterns into insight and healing.
My approach is grounded in Polyvagal Theory and Interpersonal Neurobiology because I believe that deep self-empathy and insight emerge when you understand how your nervous system shapes your responses to stress and impacts emotional regulation, attachment, and communication patterns. From empathy and insight, change can take root. In working with adults and teens, we might explore communication or relationship patterns, work to improve self-compassion, or find practical tools to navigate stress, anxiety, or past trauma. Pulling from expressive arts, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy, I aim to meet you exactly where you are with practical, attuned support. Together, we’ll explore the many aspects of who you are, helping you step into your whole, authentic self.
For children and adolescents, the focus is often on helping them develop emotional regulation skills, improve their ability to express their feelings, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Play and creative expression are powerful tools that allow children to process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels natural and comfortable. I use structured and unstructured play-based therapy and expressive arts to connect with each child in a way that helps them feel deeply seen and understood while introducing tools that enable them to process and explore their experiences and access new choices and behaviors. I take a strengths-based approach in helping children set and reach goals that they feel connected to.
Being human is complicated and sometimes deeply painful or confusing, but you have the power to build a life that fills you with inspiration and purpose. Therapy provides attuned support that will help you find an embodied sense of safety so that you are able to problem-solve and discover new paths forward. I am honored to sit with people through difficult times and offer empathy and nonjudgmental support. I bring a passion for helping people be the best versions of themselves; together, we can create a plan to help you find your footing and navigate the challenges you are facing.
