Licensed Clinical Social Worker

 

I am Mary Aldred-Crouch, a clinician at our Charleston clinic who provides therapy services!

I have a master’s degree in clinical social work and an MPH from West Virginia University. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and a master addiction counselor. I have spent 20 years in the fields of mental health, behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment. I am a certified EMDR therapist and have always done a lot of trauma work, especially childhood trauma. I am also trained in CBT, DBT, Solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and many other approaches for mental health and substance use issues.

I do quite a bit of work with trauma, mood & anxiety, schizophrenia and other mental health issues. I work with chronic pain and chronic illness. I have been in the field for over 20 years so I employ different types of therapy (EMDR, CBT, DBT, Narrative, Solution-focused and many other approaches) to help with people and what they are struggling with.
