Grace Foreback, MS, LPC-Provisional

Licensed Professional Counselor – Provisional

I am a clinician at our Morgantown clinic who provides therapy services!

Youth who have experienced complex trauma with mental health disorders of a wide variety (PTSD, Mood disorders, ODD, anxiety related disorders, risk behaviors, ASD). The client’s ideal treatment goals would be to develop coping skills and reduce symptoms of mental health issues. Additionally the client may want to understand their emotional triggers and learn to regulate their emotions effectively.

I have worked with youth in crisis situations for several years, each client I meet had their own unique background and traumatic experiences. Having the opportunity to interact with so many youth in West Virginia has helped me understand mental health and the importance of early intervention. I specialize in helping individuals develop a more solid self where they can differentiate from external forces and build the confidence to make lasting changes in their lives.

I am a recent Graduate from West Virginia University with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I strive to build a trusting client-counselor relationship with every one who walks into session. I am culturally competent and have worked with a wide range of individuals in Appalachia but have focused my work on youth who have experienced trauma. My space is safe and judgement free for everyone.
