Mental Health Counselor
Hi there and welcome! My name is Jill, and I offer therapy services at our Wheeling clinic.
I recently graduated from Robert Morris University with my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. My approach to counseling is very collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs. Some primary therapeutic approaches I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have experience with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship problems, and other challenges from all walks of life.
I believe that every person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of the counseling process.
I understand that seeking counseling can feel overwhelming at times, and I admire the courage it takes to reach out for support. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with emotional challenges, or simply looking for personal growth, I am here to help guide and support you.
