I graduated from West Virginia University with my Masters in School and Mental Health Counseling. My practice is based on the belief that all behavior is purposeful. When working with children and adolescents, I find it extremely beneficial to collaborate with families to support this process. I can help by meeting clients where they are while developing an individualized approach to each client and their needs.
Ideally, I would like to work with children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing various difficulties including anxiety, adjustment related disorders, relationship difficulties, behavior disturbances, self-harm, low self-esteem, and grief. I think it is important to identify the client’s goals within the first few sessions and figure out what stage of change they fall into. I strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment to all.
