Licensed Graduate Social Worker

Hello friend, my name is Nic Cochran. I am a social worker in Wheeling, WV and I have worked extensively with adults who have Substance Use Disorders, depression, and anxiety. I believe in putting the person first, and hearing what your experience is and, through listening and collaboration, help you find the best ways to grow and become the person you want to be.

We will work together to identify your goals, strengths, barriers, and resources to a better life. We will explore your life story and understanding through narrative therapy. If you have experienced any traumatic events, we will discuss those with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

We all need help envisioning the life we want to live and we need help getting there. My role is to support you while you explore and identify your goals and assist you in overcoming barriers to those goals, while celebrating your strengths and drawing upon your assets. I look forward to getting to know you and journeying with you.
