Master’s Level Social Worker
I am a clinician at our Morgantown clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client struggles with substance use disorder, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and/or interpersonal difficulties. Symptoms might include using substances, negative self-talk, emotional reactivity, avoidance, and/or difficulties setting boundaries. Client needs a safe, nonjudgmental space to learn and explore their life. They’re looking for validation, connection, and understanding. Goals are for them to develop self-trust, self-compassion, heal from past wounds, and improve relationships. Client wants to live a more authentic and fulfilling life, to understand their thoughts/behaviors, and learn self-acceptance.
I can help by aiding in the exploration of current symptoms by supporting identification of unconscious patterns. This allows for a deeper understanding of where and why these patterns developed, the role they played in your life when developed, the impact of these patterns in your life today, and how to reshape patterns that are no longer helpful.
I have a passion for working with individuals who struggle with substance use and trauma, knowing first-hand how they most often are part of generational cycles that take special care and attention to overcome. I encourage self-curiosity, leaning into your innate ability to heal from within, and allowing yourself to not forget the importance of play and joy.
