Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Pracitioner

Hello! My name is Phillip Bermudez, and I offer psychiatric services at our Charleston, WV clinic. My background includes managing mental illness in both pediatric and adult populations, as well as co-occurring substance use disorder and symptoms related to trauma. I use an individualized and collaborative approach to treatment, ensuring the person I am working with is able to take an active role in their own mental health journey.

We will discuss your individual needs and preferences with treatment, maintaining open and honest communication, and fostering an environment which will empower you to make positive changes in your life with the aid of the most appropriate medications.

I know how debilitating symptoms of mental illness can be, which can make you feel as if there is no hope or way forward. It takes courage to seek treatment, and sometimes it can feel as if providers are not truly listening. This is where I differ in my approach. I look forward to working with you!
