She was born and raised in rural Wetzel County, WV.  Faye completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Education at Fairmont State University, and she earned her Master of Social Work degree at WVU.

Faye is a clinical therapist licensed by the State of WV as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She has been in the mental health field since 2002 and has been practicing therapy as a Master’s level clinician since 2006.  Her practice background includes adolescent residential, adult hospitalization, school and home based family interventions, intensive group therapy services for chronic mental illness, and outpatient individual and group therapy services for mental health and substance use disorders.

Faye’s approach to therapy is to evaluate and cultivate resilience by focusing on “what works.” Faye attempts to guide clients towards shifting the way they think, feel, and act. She also encourages accepting difficult circumstances and expanding access to supports in the family and community. Faye likes to improve individuals’ health and help them build upon their strengths.

Faye welcomes individuals who need support to manage grief and loss, LGBTQIA individuals, chronic pain sufferers, family members affected by others’ substance abuse, and those who are motivated to change their own substance use.  In her free time, Faye loves to travel with her spouse and children to explore the world, whether in cities, to amusement parks, or out in nature.
