Hello, my name is Maggie Wheeler. I am a family nurse practitioner with six years of experience, mostly in a busy primary care setting. During the COVID pandemic, I saw first-hand the dire need for more psychiatric care providers in West Virginia. Good mental health is imperative to good physical health. I had the opportunity to follow my passion in June 2022 and have been working in psychiatry since then. I am currently pursuing a PMH-NP certification through West Virginia University. I strongly believe that clients are in charge of their mental health journeys, and my role is to empower them throughout the way.

I am able to diagnose, prescribe medications, interpret labs, and establish treatment plans. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Harmony TCN is equipped for a collaborative approach through its team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and therapists.
